Simply said, this is a fairly standard hotel right in the heart of the falls. We had a short time to explore and being able to start the trails when they just opened in the morning, avoiding the huge crowds, and having the trails to ourselves was priceless. In addition, we could easily walk back to the hotel during "peak... More

First off, it has to be stated that this hotel is expensive. What we paid for our single night stay was waaay more that what you would probably spend in hotels outside the park. That said, as I said in my title, it was worth it. The convenience of having the trails to the falls just within walking distance was... More

The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but no one cares because of the location. You really can't do any better in Iguazu. We really enjoyed our stay although eating at the hotel was expensive and the food wasn't great. We loved the steam room and sauna and used them every night. We seemed to be the only ones there,... We were not expecting a great deal from this hotel after having read the reviews on Trip Advisor. However, we were more than satisfied and, in fact, enjoyed our one-night stay at this hotel more than our stay at Das Cataratas on the Brazilian side of the falls, which pretends to be a more upscale property. We were immediately upgraded... More

There are a ton of reviews for this hotel, so just a few additional thoughts. This is the only hotel in the park and well worth it if you can afford the extra splurge. If you are worried about the costs, consider joining the SPG program and trying to acquire points to reduce your nights. We were lucky in that... More

The Sheraton Hotel is located right inside the National Park, just a short walk to the falls which means you can come and go to the sites around the falls on your own schedule. The hotel is well maintained with all the amenities you would expect from this hotel chain. The breakfast buffet was amazing - a huge spread. Best... More

The hotel is located within the Iguazú National Park - which is the place where the waterfalls are - . It´s, literally, located in the middle of the jungle and just a few steps from the entrance to the trails that take you to the magnificent waterfalls. You won´t find a better location to stay in Iguazú. This place really... More

I've stayed in many Sheratons in South America and this hotel had the best service and the best food. The hotel was clean but it shows it heavy use from tourists. I stayed on the jungle side and it should be called the parking lot side. My wife had a spa session and that was fantastic also. This is the... More

Iguazu was a highlight of our trip, which surprised us because it is so touristy and that typically isn't our gig. The natural beauty overshadows the abundance of tourists. We also loved our stay at the Sheraton, which attributed to our overall enjoyment of Iguazu. The service was fantastic. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was... More

Typical chain hotel.. nothing special... above average restaurant... BUT..the location is awesome. You can get into the park before anyone from the town gets there in the morning and see all manner of wildlife. More
