One of the oldest hostelarias in Colon, renovated with a lot of charm. The swiming pool is a must on the hot summer days, the staff where really nice. Try the restaurant aswell the food is excellent (especially the local river fish) for very reasonable prices.

Colorful and rustic, not 100% comfortable, but worth the stay. Breakfast was good. Charming.

Hosteria del Puerto is a pretty, old building, located a minutes walk from the river on a pretty street. Situated in an old Spanish style building with a lovely patio. The room itself was quite large and old fashioned. In short, it's old but nice old. There is a cozy restaurant as well which looks great but the food is nothing to write home about.

This is probably the nicest place to stay in this charming riverine town, 5 hours north of Buenos Aires. The two smarter hotels may have more comforts but they lack character.
