Two reasons two stay here - cheap private rooms and a nice terass. Otherwise go elsewhere. People that are not guests come and go. Dirty and very unorganized hostel.

We enjoyed our stay at the San Juan Hostel. The staff were very helpful and all spoke English. The rooms are clean and quiet with nice amenities. There is a lovely roof top terrace for breakfast and hanging out in the evening with a nice view. Location is convenient.

This hostel was cheap compared to others in the city but otherwise is no great. Our ¨Twin Private Room¨ was so small that you had to climb over one bed to get into the other.
