I had such a good experience at Babilonia, I returned to stay a second time during my trip in the Central Sierras region of Argentina. During my first stay, I ran into some unexpected travel snags, and the Babilonia staff and guests were incredibly helpful and sweet. I stayed here to save money, but returned because I liked the people... More

This hostel is clean, comfortable and staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good, with nice big clean mugs for your coffee or tea, bathrooms have proper showers (not over toilet) and big mirrors. Its light, bright and airy. Chill out area is also excellent to mingle with other travellers. Wifi is fast and bed sheets are clean! More

I really enjoyed staying at this place. The staff is amazing, helpful and knowledgeable. Common areas are really comfortable and breakfast is also decent by Argentinian standars. Beds are about average, but bathrooms are really something - clean and spacious - at least on the top floor. Overall the place has a really good vibe. I also found the hostel... More

Had a really great stay here, and only wish we had longer. The rooms were clean and well designed, and the showers were a real treat after so many bad ones in South America. Most of all though, the staff are so great. Most are uni students so they're intelligent, attentive and speak very good English. Brilliant hostel. More

We stayed in a private double with shared bathroom. The room was great, simple but clean, with heater and as I said in my title, the best smelling sheets ever! The bathroom was a bit grim and never felt very clean, although they did emulsion the mouldy dealing while we were there and that made a bit of a difference,... More

This is a great hostel run by enthusiastic and friendly people. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the common areas are very conducive to sitting around chatting with others. The various dinner evenings are a very inclusive activity, and the whole hostel just feels like a fun place to be. Great place to stay! More

We stayed here for one night in an 8 bed mixed dorm with a shared bathroom. We arrived in the mornign after spending the night on the bus from Salta and were warmly welcomed by the staff. We were offered breakfast whilst we waited for our room and we could make full use of the free internet and lounge area... More

We were greeted with a smile at 8am and our room was ready for us. The staff was very helpful with a map of the city and recommendations for local restaurants and events. There were group activities every night with either a pizza dinner or a trip to see a show. The location is in-between the historic center and New... More

This ranks amongst one of the best hostels in South America. The staff is engaged, very friendly, accommodating and helpful and the owner, Julian, imbues the place with a relaxed, genial atmosphere. One of the ways you can a good hostel is by whether the staff personally check the bathrooms several times a day. The layout of the common areas... More

Excellent hostel very close to the centre of the city. The best feature of the hostel is the staff who are excellent and really friendly. They provide a lot of help and information and easily the best i have used in south america in a hostel. Hostel itself is clean and quite small and the rooms are ok and adequate.... More
