We used an online booking site, giving us a great price which eased our expectations. Our 2nd floor corner room was up to date, clean, and comfortable. The room was small, but traffic noise was not too intrusive. Perhaps we were blessed with a lower floor, allowing the trees to filter the noise? The corner windows faced the Obelisk, the... More

I stayed for a night enroute back to New Zealand, following an antarctic cruise. My room was on the 6th floor facing the the Obelisk square. Incredible noise every time the lights changed and the traffic took off, a bit like being on the starting grid at a Grand Prix. Having said that though, I had no trouble sleeping. The... More

My husnand I spent three nights at this hotel and were very pleased with it. It was very clean, modern, comfortable and safe. There was a doorman and a large reception willing to help with anything from booking tours to arranging cabs etc. The breakfast was adequate and there was a bar for drinks. The room itself was great -... More

This was my 6th visit to Buenos Aires and for various reasons i've stayed in a different hotel each time.If you consider the central location, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff and the general comfort of our room then this hotel comes out top of my list so far.Our room was airconditioned and with the window closed you could... Central location, near Obelisk. Can walk many places. Staff was extremely friendly. Hotel felt safe. Rooms were on the older side, but well kept up and clean. Complimentary breakfast was very good. We felt the hotel was a very good value. Since hotel is on a main street, the room can be a little noisy due to street noise. If... More

Stayed here as part of an organised tour. Basic rooms on a very busy road ( Av de 9 Julio)- probably the busiest street in Buenos Aires if not the world. Relatively expensive for what you got. If you have to stay there ask for a room as high up as possible to reduce noise levels

If you are younger, adventuresome, and don't mind taking a cab to historic sites, Las Cañitas is a great alternative. The restaurant/nightlife is awesome. People who live in Las Cañitas seem to be more sophisticated; everyday you see Audis, Ferraris, BMWs. It is super safe, night and day. When you are in Las Cañitas you are closer to the big... More

I went to this hotel in May this year as part of my Peregrine tour of South America. To cut a long story short, we were charged for 2 extra beers which we did not have. The 'manager' who was working on the day we departed, supposedly rang the bar guy who had been working on the night in question... More

I reserved this hotel for 1 night in booking.com and got an excelente rate, the kind of rate that make you imagine they are going to put you on the janitor room.
