Very good location, nice area of Recoleta. But...carefull, many rooms are too small. Overpriced. I only recomend if you get a low season price.

We stayed in mid January 2012 at this hotel, clean and pleasant, and centrally located in Recoleta. The staff was helpful sometimes, depending on the person, but overall ok. Good breakfast. Easy walking distance of Recoleta cemetary. Medium sized room, not claustrophobic. Would stay there again.
The Hotel Bel Air in Recoleta is a very charming and competently run hotel. After looking at many hotel review web sites this hotel kept coming to the top. I couldn't agree more. The rooms are very nice, a bit small, but in the European style. Everything you expect to be in your room is there, and they are the...

I could really like this hotel. Tastefully decorated in the classy Recoletta District, a real home away from home..except for the staff. With one or two exceptions, the staff attitudes ranged from indifferent through rude to arrogant. If management can sort out this issue it would truly be a class hotel. So, if you don't mind portering your own luggage...

We enjoyed staying in this hotel, as it was easy to walk to shops and local restaurants and not far from Avenida 9 de Julio. The breakfast was good. The room wasn't huge, but it was comfortable. There was free wi-fi in the lobby.
On our way back from hiking in El Chalten we spend a night at the Bel Air Hotel in the Recoleta neighborhood. The Hotel is at best OK. For one night and only as a place to sleep it can work. I doubt the 2 of us could have spent more than 2 waking hours in the room without getting...

This is a decent hotel for the price we paid. We were in a comfort double room with twin beds.
Observations:
1. The English spoken by staff is sufficiently understandable.
2. There is no in-room hot water kettle (you can get a teapot from the restaurant on the main floor but it's not the same thing).
2a. There is an...

We stayed at this hotel in Buenos Aires prior to our cruise to Uruguay, Patagonia and Chile. This hotel is located in a very nice section of the city. It is very reasonably priced for it's location. It is modern, with very nice rooms, small but nice lobby, free computer downstairs, excellent showers in the bathrooms. The area is convenient...

The Bel Air is a basic, 3 star hotel with no particular redeeming features, but, equally, no actual faults. Check in was smooth enough, and our room was clean and functional, if a little sparse. The location is excellent, being close to an attractive square and major shopping area. Incidentally, most of the shops in the vicinity seem to have...
