Having in the past travelled through Paarl, but never stayed there, our expectations were not too high. And yet, arriving at the hotel and having the view on Paarl out of our room window, we were surprised by its beauty. The fact that there are still works going on in the hotel, didnot outweigh our possitive feelings.

Upon our late arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who pampered us for the duration of our three day stay. The rooms have just been upgraded and are clean and very comfortable. The first thing the new owners of this property should do is get their hands on all the old brochures floating about. Then promptly burn them! Aparently the hotel now goes by the name of Paal Boutique Hotel.
