My girlfriend and I had a really lovely stay at this guesthouse. The rooms are saparated in little houses what we really liked. We only had one night there and we had a good time. In the evening we had the homecooked 3-course meal and it was perfect.

Our family stayed at the Oue Werf for three nights and will definitely be going back. Nothing was too much trouble, breakfasts were organised early for the mornings we had to leave early. We had lunch in the coffee shop on site and the food was delicious and very good value for money. Plenty of space for children to run... More

We stayed at Oue Werf for a couple of nights in February and loved the place. It is in a beautiful spot and the family made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfasts were excellent and we had 2 evening meals which were equally as good. We would love to go back and thoroughly recommend... More

My wife and I spent an idyllic few days at Oue Werf in January where Tarina made us feel very welcome, we will definitely be back next year. The accommodation was great and the location stunning. The breakfasts were lovely and there are so many places to visit in the area.

We stayed in the Oue Werf Guesthouse in Oudtshoorn for only one night in February and would recommend it to anyone. The place has it's own private apartments within the beautiful grounds and a separate 'main house' where we checked in and had breakfast. The house has a very homely feel as it is family run and always has been.... More

We had a 2 night stay here on our holiday and it is beautiful. The locations is stunning (although a bit out of town), the area gorgeous, the rooms amazing, the staff fab (Tarina is wonderful and made us feel like family from the second we arrived) and the pool and grounds a picture. Add to that great food (breakfast... More

We stayed here for one night visiting the Cango caves and wished we had stayed longer. The setting is stunning, our room was spacious and very clean and we cooled off in the pool. Very welcoming family run staff and we had a great meal eating in and enjoying ostrich and good wine! Highly recommend and great value for money

The guesthouse was very nice and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helped you if they could. The location is very handy with all major attractions on all sides. So it gave you the chance to relax pretty good and not have to drive long stretches to go and see something.

Staying at Oue Werf, a bed and breakfast near Oudtshoorn, is a wonderful experience. The family-run B&B is located on a small farm outside of town. Guests stay in luxurious, quaint cottages that come equipped with two large single beds, copious fine linens, bathrobes and slippers. Each room is provided with tea/coffee making equipment, homemade peanut butter cookies and rusks... More

We travel on educational trips with graduate students, and stayed at Oue Werf in 2008, and again in 2012. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have the "honeymoon" suite each time, but each of the rooms has its own classic style. This family-owned and maintained site provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is so easy to just curl... More
