Excellent service all round, great room, great location. The 2 young ladies were extremely friendly and helpful and the gentleman who turned our beds down and placed a hot water bottle in the bed every night was a real sweetie.Will definitely recommend the Hermanus Beach Villa and will definitely be returning there.

There is too much light coming into the room from the top window at the door. I sleep very light and I found it difficult to fall asleep. The music in the breakfast room is quite annoying (1950's). we stayed two nights at the Hotel, booked the honeymoon suite, as we had our 10th wedding anniversary during the stay. The view from this room over walker bay is gorgeous, we even saw a delphine school with ~20 animals in the morning laying in our bed. It was a pity, that it was no whale season... The felxibilaty and hospitallity is one thing that stand out amongst the stylefull apartment and settings. The firendliness of all personell is remarkable. WARNING: When showring my wife leaned against "closed" glass frame and fell on her face. The sharp edge of the tiles cut her face so that she had to go to the hospital.

We had the voelklip room, which was okay, but definately not 4 star. The hot water was a great dissapointment and we werent offered an alternate shower arrangement. The hosts did however accomodate us with our braai on the Saturday evening.

This is a great place to stay, lovely beach behind the house, quiet, friendly staff, super breakfast. Nothing is missing. Highly recommended. Also connected double rooms for families. Safe place. I would go there again.

We were impressed with the friendliness of the hosts. The location is great....a few minutes walk from two of the main Hermanus beaches. We had just one night here & it was delightful. Our room was fabulous and had a wonderful balcony overlooking the beach. The sounds of the waves crashing in to shore is not something to be forgotten. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. Definitely recommended.
