This is the best B&B I have ever stayed in- gorgeous views and located up closer to Table Mountain. Dominic, Allan and the whole staff have impeccable attention to detail, wonderful activity recommendations, fantastic food (and drink!) as well as a beautifully designed residence. They are extremely responsive in the booking process, and they also organized a number of outings... More

This guest house is of international standard, something one cant say about many guest houses in Cape Town. The decor is superb, the rooms comfortable, the hosts impeccable. Gay-friendly, which for us of course a plus. More

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a trip to Southern Africa. It was a last minute decision to go to Cape Town, but when I phoned twentytwo then were brilliant right from the outset. We phoned in the afternoon and arrived later that night, being met at the airport by a transfer organised by Alan. Alan... More

Twenty Two delivers the best of all worlds. Frendly and informal but proffessional and efficient. It's thoughtfully put together with care underpinning every element - be it the lovely, confident decor, the honesty bar or the endless supply of printed instructions for reaching wherever you want to go, be it Cape Point or a local restaurant. Everything about this property... More

Fantastic to be back, Alan and Dominic were once again the consummate hosts and it felt like coming home - we stayed in room number 3 which we think is the best room in the house. We can't recommend it enough! More

What a pity that we could not stay longer in Cape Town and longer at twentytwo! Allan and Dominic were such wonderful hosts, and this is such a comfortable and stylish guest house, that we really are eager to return. Alas, we only had a mere 24 hours to spend in beautiful Cape Town, but Allan and Dominic helped us... More

We spent only two days at twentytwo as we passed through Cape Town on our way home at the end of a week in South Africa. But it didn't take long to realise that we had struck lucky. We felt like 'old friends' within minutes of meeting Alan and Dominic; wonderful raconteurs, who acted as cordial hosts, knowledgeable concierges and... More

Twentytwo is a beautiful guest house, with lovely but comfortable decor. Our room was luxurious with a view of the garden and pool and the city below. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were superb (we are trying to buy some on line). Dom and Allan are great hosts. They provided us with wonderful eating and sightseeing suggestions,... Thank you both very much for your positive feedback on your stay here at twentytwo. We are noticing that our breakfasts increasingly feature as a key element in guest's enjoyment and satisfaction of the place, so a good point made that they are indeed made to order! Your enthusiasm for South Africa and especially Cape Town was clearly apparent and... More

I travelled on my own to Cape Town to meet with friends for just one day although stayed 5. With trepidation I arrived at 22 to be met by Dominic who showed me around the property and made me feel most welcome. I spent a lazy afternoon on cushioned seating next to a sparkling pool surrounded by beautiful greenery with... More

The small ( but beautifully formed) size of twentytwo, and the great fun to be had with owners Dominic and Allan, ever generous with refilling glasses as well as being generous of spirit and humour makes this lovely guesthouse stay feel just like visiting friends. Of course this is a business too though and Dominic and Allan also go the... More
