We only stayed 1 night. The room was pretty small but had a great view of Table Mountain & was within walking distance to many central attractions.

I stayed 2 nights. The first night here was the last night of a tour, the second night I book independantly at a bargain price of 31 UK pounds.
To be honest, it was great, very central, clean, great breakfast, helpful front desk. The only thing that was not great was that it was quite noisy. I could here other...

Came down for the Cape Argus Cycle Tour and needed a place near the start point. No place can beat the Tulip hotel for that! But thats all the positives I can state. My wife and I arrived on a late flight from Johannesburg and were really looking foward to a refreshing night`s rest.We were booked for 4 ngihts at the Tulip.Upon...

Of all the places we stayed, during the 5 1/2 weeks we were in South Africa, this was without any doubt the worst! (The bright side is: everything else looked terrific afterwards). Of the 3 weeks we tented on our group tour the tents were a far better choice than this small, smelly, unpleasant place. Not one of us would...

The room was smelly and very noisy - could hear the elevator running all night. The next morning there...

We stayed four nights at this hotel and it was decent to be fair. Not much to write home about, the rooms are small and offer the basic amenities expected of a downtown hotel. The view of table mountain from the room is excellent on a clear day as well as the location of the hotel from the famous V&A...

Stayed for four nights during the WC. The hotel is not spectacular, but it does not claim to be either. It is an absolutely OK place to stay: clean room (mine had a beautiful view of Table Mountain), good location (central, about 15 minutes’ walk from the V&A Waterfront), and a simple but OK breakfast.
My room (704) had a...

Given that I manage to get the room from one of the website for hotel booking and promotion given under one of the credit card company (VxxA), I am paying a backpacker hostel ensuite room price to get a hotel room.
The location is superb, in the city and I could see table mountain from the window.
Room is clean...
