Close to the hop on and hop off tour. Walk to nearby restarants or beach. Beautiful beach. And the rooms and hospitality are to die for. Breakfast was delicious. And the host catered to our every need. I would go back ina heartbeat

We stayed at 51 Camps Bay for three nights from the 29 April 2012.
Brilliant guest house, with great attention to detail and a relaxed atmosphere. Corrie was fantastic and it was a pleasure to meet Merryl.
The location is perfect for walking to the many bars and restaurants and to watch the sun set from the balcony.
We shall...

We booked this great place for our honeymoon after reading an article on The Guardian Online about the top 10 places to stay in Cape Town. We were very impressed with the quality and service here.
We booked a Mountain View room, which had access to the shared balcony with an ocean view from which we could enjoy the sunset...

Breakfast is perfectly done- delicious, elaborate and generous. A lovely place to stay overall- we felt comfortable, safe and looked after. Lastly- the beds are uber...

We stayed in the Superior Double which has a huge ensuite double shower and sliding doors so you can see out to sea too! Huge comfy bed and gorgeous furniture throughout. Breakfast is served...

I admit - I've been spoilt by South African guest houses where everything is uber stylish, polished and like something out of World of Interiors. You can see from the picture here that this atttains a very good standard and Corrie who manages the place could not be nicer and more helpful - he's a gem. But something's are not...

We loved our stay at 51 Camps Bay. We had a beautiful room which overlooked the bay and every care had been taken to make us feel as if we were in a 5 star hotel. (Flowers on the bed and in bathroom etc.)
Our host was very welcoming and recommended us an excellent restaurant for the evening, which he...

We couldn't fault this place, it's in a central location with amazing views, just a stones throw from the beach front. This location is a great combination of being close to all amenities but not quite in the thick of it, so quite peaceful. Our room was luxuourious and spotless and we also felt really safe. The onsite manager corrie...
