Stop looking and stay here... There is not a better, friendlier spot in all of pine top / lakeside or dare i say Arizona. I have stayed at 5 star hotels, from casinos in vegas to four seasons in new york and this was more a vacation than any of those. Now our Ideas of vacations might be different so... More

For the last 4 years my family and extended family have stayed here several times in a season, but no more! We are skilled at fishing in the white mountains. The rule here is 5 fish per angler per day. On our last trip, we had five anglers fishing, we kept 19 fish the first day. They owner meet us... More

Most cabins are dated and dingy. We have been going for years to these cabins, but lately its not worth the money. We had fun fishing, but even then At $300.00 +++ a night it doesn't make spending so much money worth it. We found cabins by owner for rent and will not be returning to these. More

What a wonderful time! My family couldn't have been happier. The cabin was great. Plenty of room to spread out and just relax. We stayed in #26. My children, ages 14 and 12 had the best time. It was so much fun just reconnecting, playing cards, sitting around the fire place (wood provided) fishing at the private lake,(no licence required)... More

We are visiting the Lake of the Woods right now. We are staying in cabin number 5. It was built in the 1930's. It is the oldest and probably least modern cabin of all.It is also one if not the smallest cabin here. It is charming. The kitchen must have the original appliances all in excellent working condition. The cabin... More

We have stayed at Lake of the Woods several times over the past few years and also at their sister property Lazy Oaks on Rainbow Lake. I love both places, Lazy Oaks isn't on the main highway 260 and is quieter. The owners are so very friendly and really try hard to keep the place nice and clean and beautiful.... More

Folks, these are country cabins. We're campers, so we're very used to roughing it, and these were a big step up from what we're used to ! This is not a Phoenix 5-star resort, it's a country cabin, don't walk in, expecting all of your city needs to be met. First, the cabin...Clean, neat, simple. Just perfect. The porch, lovely... More

I was a little hesitant to book this but husband wanted to go with the kids. We don't do wilderness well and never gone camping before but we all had a good time. This place is really not in the woods but right off the main highway and the lake is really not a large lake but more of a... More

I do pay attention to negative reviews, and the ones I see for this always read to me like a person looking for a luxury hotel. These are log cabins in the woods next to a lake. That being said, These are CLEAN cabins. I have never had a problem with here with the property or the ownership/staff. Will be... More
