Stayed at Olifants for 1 night with my boyfriend. Twin beds. Clearly the kruger doesn't cater for couples. Beautiful camp and views and the rondawel we stayed in was nice but the shower was not great. Very little water coming out. Aircon was loud and noisy and kept us up the whole night so we didn't have a pleasant sleep!... More

After staying in Olifants several times I realise I have not done a review we have always stayed in the Perimeter bungalow with river views which are amazing we have always seen lots of elephants in this area and the night Astronomy Experience was outstanding. The accommodation is not like the private lodges but its not the prices they charge... More

After we have stayed in the Kruger Nationalpark area two years ago and visited Olifants camp for a short stop on one of our drives we decided that we need to stay at the camp the next time we are in South Africa. The restcamp is located more or less in the middle of the park with Phalaborwa being the... More

From the moment we arrived at Olifants we felt at home. The reception staff are fantastic and go the extra mile to satisfy guests. David and Wilhemina are the stars but the rest of the camp saff are also very pleasant and efficient. If you are a landscape photographer this is the place to get amazing sunrise and sunset photographs... More

Stayed in rondeval #5 overlooking the river--recently renovated. Everything was much cleaner than we had been led to believe from previous reviews, particularly the newly tiled bathrooms. We were quite impressed. Outdoor porch kitchen was fully equipped and the slightly outdated refrigerator worked just fine. Olifants is a great location in the center of the park, away from the maddening... More

Have been visiting Olifants for about 30 years now and no trip to SA would be complete without several nights here. Can just stare out at the view for hours and hours and always see plenty of game in the vicinity of this camp. Accommodation basic as is most in Kruger although some huts are more modernly fitted out than... More

Brilliant location and good value. Wish we had stayed here more than one night rather than at the other camps we visited also dont forget to take BBQ food. Resturant good but BBQ under the stars is best.

The bungalow was basic but surfice for what we needed - clean and secure. The camp shops are well stocked with almost everything - although as you would expect a little more expensive for some items (stop at a Pick and Pay on the way into Kruger). We had a bangalow with a view of the river which was, for... More

Overlooking the Oliphants river, looking over endless miles of bush strectching to the north and Mozambique, our two nights offered tranquility and beauty our 8 day trip to the Kruger. There's also a great viewing platform and cafe/restaurant (which we didn't sample except for drinks). Friendly and efficient staff, not the case in Satara and Skukhuza, a good shop and... More

Olifants is located up on a hill overlooking a river. You can see/hear the hippos in the river. Compared to some of the other camps it is quieter/smaller. Like most of the park accommodation, the huts are fairly basic, but clean. The shop is pretty decent. We did not eat at the restaurant, and instead cooked our own food. The... More
