Thanks to Ally, Mandla, Ernest, Antoinette, and all the staff who made our stay such a memorable one. We enjoy birding and Ally was a great guide who called birds for us and quickly spotted them in the field. We also had two different sightings on our game drives of a Python and also crocs consuming something they had recently... More

Pafuri Camp is a lovely place. The tents are luxurious! They are beautiful, very spacious and clean. The most impressive part is their service. As soon as I arrived, I was surprised that the staff addressed me by my name. They knew who I was and were expecting me! When I entered the room, I was impressed by the hand-made,... More

Pafuri Camp is truly lovely, built on wooden decks about 2 meters off the ground. It has 20 "tents" in all and that can mean a rather long walk if you are at one of the ends. The camp overlooks the Luvuvhu River, with nyalaberry and jackalberry trees all around. You see a variety of animals walking by (often right... More

Our first stop in Kruger was to Pafuri River Camp, and our accommodations were more than I expected....always clean and rather plush. Double sinks, a personal toilet area, and both an inside and an outside shower in a tented situation. Staff was caring and excellent...knew all of our names by the second day! Outings were on time and profitable (saw... More

We spent two days in Pafuri as part of a seven day safari trip that included Mashatu in the Tuli reserve in southern Botswana and Elephant Plains in Sabi Sands. Although I certainly wouldn't go to Pafuri with the expectation of seeing all of the big 5 (even though it's conceivable), it definitely is a place worth considering. Of the... More

What a wonderful surprise, I never thought of going to the north of the Kruger National Park....was I pleasantly surprised. Pafuri is a place which offers everything you can think of and that in a part of South Africa far away from any luxuries. The people, food, accommodation, scenery and then the sarfari's were world class. Sitting on the deck... More

One of the most stunning camps and places I have yet visited!! The Parfuri area boasts with 75% of all bio-diversity found in the whole of Kruger National Park. There are hills and valleys, big and small Ramsar pans filled with birds, floodplains dotted with numerous game species, the 2 rivers, Limpopo and Levuvu were in flood in May. When... More

Spent delightful 3 nights at Pafuri Camp. Not for those only interested in Big 5. However, landscape is fascinating. Don't miss the drive to Crooks' Corner (border of SA, Zim & Mocambique) as well as the spectacular Lanner Gorge, a place the ordinary visitor to the Park would not see (assuming they know about it). Our guide, Enos, was one... More

A wonderful, relatively new camp in an amazing setting. Excellent hospitality, first rate guides, good food - in fact everything one would expect from a such an establishment.
