Satara restcamp is located in the middle of the lions territory which makes it really interesting for those who wants to see cats. Also contrary to the south of the Kruger the area is dryer which means that the animals are much easier to see. The accomodations are fine and clean with a little barbecue to cook you own food... We recently stayed for two nights in one of the two-bedroom cottages at Satara. The cottage was clean and acceptably equiped with dishes, cutlery, etc. We we able to improvise to meet all cooking needs.
