We just returned from a stay at Jock Safari and this place just isn't as good as other lodges. Everything was fine, but not outstanding, certainly not 5 star quality. Plus, smoking is permitted in the common public areas.

Dear Guest, I appreciate your feedback. Jock Safari Lodge has always been an authentic Safari Lodge that reflects the bygone era of the 1800’s with a rustic charm. In general we are not as luxurious as some of the newly built boutique Lodges. We do however structure our rates accordingly for our Guests to believe that they receive excellent value... More

Jock was amazin!!! I have always wanted to go on Safari. My husband and i stayed in Jock for the second leg of our Honeymoon and we weren't disappointed! We were treated like royalty from start to finish! Our room was at the edge of the lodge and i think we were given this as we were honeymooners as it... More

Having just made another Angolan trip from Monday to Thursday, a long week-end (Friday to Tuesday) at Kruger was just what the doctor ordered. We (the family - my wife and 3 boys) stayed at Jock's Lodge last year and we had such a good time that we decided to make a return trip. We were not disappointed. Private Game... More

What can I say? I am in love with Jock Safari Lodge! Five Stars for this lodge for sure and TEN stars for it's staff! Everyone was more than wonderful to us during our six night stay and we enjoyed them for the great personalities they were! Lyle, our guide was humorous and incredibly knowledgeable, testing us at every corner... More

We stayed for three nights in former Little Jock (they changed the name to Fitzpatrick) and it was just amazing. We had great game drives with Dave, who was Ranger and property Manager in one person and he did it absolutely great. There are just three rooms with totally 6 guests and the staff gave you the feeling to be... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Jock for my 40th birthday. We were there for 6 nights on a deal that I bought through Jetsetter. This was simply one of the best holidays ever! We arrived and they had a bottle of wine and a birthday card waiting in our room. We went on our first drive that day and... More

We spent 24 hours here at the beginning of our honeymoon on the way to Mauritius. It was always going to be a bit of a whistle stop tour but it was excellent and definitely worth the money with the 2 included game drives. The accommodation was lovely and in a perfect location - we saw 3 of the Big... More

Our visit to Jock was part of a "Retirement" holiday, with Cape Town and Mauritius providing very chunky bookends to our four nights in the Kruger. This was the first time for us in this sort of place, and our memories of our time there are wonderful. I will admit that when we arrived, loaded down by luggage and after... More

Just got back from 4 days at Jock Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. A great example of "you get what you pay for". There were 8 of us in the group (4xadults, 4x >12 years olds). Perfect combination of early morning rises, late afternoon tours and mid afternoon gym or siesta's. We had the good fortune to have... More

Being a wild life junkie and regular Kruger Park visitor it has always been a dream to visit one of the upmarket private lodges. The wife and I decided to take the expensive plunge - and boy was it worth it ! Superb accommodation with private pool, five star service, great food & wine and a delectable spa experience. From...
