Hi all, I spend a weekend in the fantastic Krugerpark during my last business trip in Jo'burg. Trying to find an accommodation inside the southern part of the Krugerpark, my choices last-minute were limited to Pretoriuskop and Skukuza. I ended up in Skukuza in a small hut (2 p.), accommodation was clean and basic, but no further complaints on that.... More

Skukuza is the main restcamp in Kruger. It is very well organized, clean, staff are friendly and met a great South African couple who made this experience much more enriching, they stay at Kruger at least one week per month and they've experienced so much.... You can see and hear animals around the camp and walking along the fence during... More

The Semi-luxury bungalows were not bad, but generally this camp is now looking a bit tired and frayed around the edges, which is a great pity. It is one of the larger camps and the service in the restaurant is a joke. The food was inedible and sent back. BTW it was just a hamburger. I would however recommend the... More

The rest camp is comprised a substantial number of detached cabins located on winding lanes and a separate area for tents and caravans(trailers). My cabin was equipped with 2 single beds, good sized bathroom and shower, and a small kitchen outside in the screened porch. There is a large convenience store selling food, alcohol, and souvenirs. If you choose not to... More

Arrived early, but couldn't check-in before there 1400 check-in time, so we went out on our own game drive and were fortunate enough to see some Lions. We stopped in a semi-luxury bungalow for 1 night, which was clean and comfortable. We took part in a sunset drive and sunrise drive, so never really spent much time at the bungalow,... More

We went to Skukuza for brunch on our 1st day of game viewing in the Park & had such a bad experience that we almost cancelled the booking we had made to stay there on the following day! The meal & the service were really bad, & when we complained to the manageress we were treated with complete indifference. It... More

Beautiful sunrises and river views. The bed was fine but the pillows were terrible and the bedding looked grey. One pillow slip was marked in a large font with a thick laundry marker (looked like an inventory number). The shower worked well but the shower door film definitely needs replacing. The floor rugs are very "tired" and we really struggled... More

We stayed in a four person onsite tent. The tent and bedding were clean and comfortable. The fridge was very handy and we loved being right by the fence (hyena at night were a huge thrill!). The camp shop was affordable and really well stocked. The campsite is a bit tired with overgrown gardens and areas that just need a... More

Largest Camp within the Kruger National Park. We had a 4 sleeper guest cottage, and what a pleasure it was. Right on the river, with beautiful sunrises. Beds were very comfortable, rooms spotless and shower pressure great. Will certainly book this unit again.

Lovely place, the sounds of the wild to go to bed to is just awesome views stunning across the river, sounds of hippos at night, deer eat out your hand of you sit still enough, may see elephants the other side of the river and if next to what looks like an old rainway bridge you can see the monkeys...
