Overall, the game-viewing in the central section of Kruger can't compare with the south, but within 10 km of the camp we had all our best sightings, so the location has that going for it. Within the camp it was spacious, quiet and cool with plenty of large trees for shade and a great river view. We requested a bungalow... More

Loved the Letaba rest camp set up. We stayed at Family guest house. Spacious and comfortable with all basic amenities minus TV (in the bush it’s actually better without a TV). Real winner is the set up with Letaba river flowing past the rest camp and loads of open space with trees in front of the guest house. The pricing... More

The huts are basic but clean, have all facilities for self catering including kettle, stove and fridge. Supervision is unfortunately poor as we were only given small hand towels and had to specifically request proper bath towels. The basin’s plug seal leaked so maintenance is lacking. A new system of completing a fault form should however improve the situation.

We stayed in a 3 sleeper bungalow, it had a fridge, water kettle and untensils in the screened kitchen/porch area with a crappy hotplate in the communal kitchen and a nice little braai pit just out. It had a shower and overall was clean and in good repair. The camp gates closed at 6pm and opened at 6am. We saw... More

We rented a safari tent for 3 night. A great experience! You have the luxery of good beds and fridge and still you are camping. Kitchen/bathrooms are close by and clean. After a game drive you can relax at the pool or at the restaurant. This is nog a big rest camp like lower sabie, but it has enough facilities.... More

Letaba is one of the most beautiful and best sited camps in the Kruger Park, and thus deserves the kind of service that would allow it to have 5 stars from all visitors. But, our hut was very indifferently maintained. There was a printout unceremoniously taped to the wall with an inventory of everything in the hut, with hand scrawled... More

What a wonderful surprise Letaba turned out to be. A pity that we only had one night there. We stayed at their guest cottage which was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The view from the restaurant is amazing. It was unforgettable sitting there and watching the elephants. At sunset herds of animals make their way down to the river. You... More

Not as modern as the Skukuza rest camp, but you really dont mind when you have such an amazing view from the restaurant veranda. You can sit there for hours watching the animals come and go and the food is quite reasonable. Make sure you leave time just to sit and take it all in
