Seasoned African travelers highly recommend this place. It is a location to experience Africa, knowledgeable and friendly staff, quality food, great game drives and a pub that is second to none. We have stayed there numerous times and can't wait to go back again

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Simply - TSL is awesome! Fantastic location, great staff and lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed a fantastic evening in the Boma watching a traditional group of African dancers. Dinner was delicious and accommodation cool and clean. The brightly coloured rondavels always put a smile on your face :) Can't wait for my next visit. Would highly recommend!

The location of the lodge is good, near Orpen Gate, but the property is somewhat neglected. There are no mosquito nets for the windows and without airconditioning that is not a good idea in Malaria areas. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We also enjoyed the dancing in the boma.

i have been to and from this place a few times now and i love it. from time to time i have even taken tour groups via here for accommodation and game trails and it gets nothing but great reviews from everyone. I fell on the slippery cement floor shower Oct 21st, hurting my back and ruining the rest of my holiday. My sister complained to management about posting signs in the bathroom to stand on bath mat to avoid the agony I went through. The management was very not sympathetic and I was left to travel home with a locked back.
