We have as a family, and as a couple stayed at wonderful Dolphin Dunes on many occasions, where some visits were en route to other destinations, and others were longer stays to rest, relax and unwind. And all of the above were achieved on every occasion, where the owners could not be more welcoming, from providing restaurant options, to adventurous... More

We've stayed at Dolphin Dunes on a few occasions and it's always difficult to leave. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing on the dunes below, followed by long walk on the beach and slap-up breakfast back at the lodge, does wonders for the soul. Thanks again to Mathilda and Andre for looking after us so well during our... More

On the 26th December 2011 our 2 adults and 2 children) and our friends 2 adults and two children left our homes in Cape Town and headed to Dolphin Dunes in the Wilderness for a much needed break. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Mathilda and shown to where we would be staying. The accommodation was tastefully decorated... More

When researching a place to stay, our travel agent was given specific instructions about our needs, specifically that we were two families with young children. Dolphin Dunes would be perfect our agent claimed, friendly staff who would happily host us. Imagine our surprise when our kids, on the first afternoon of our stay, are playing in the pool and the... My wife and I travelled to South Africa during November and stayed at many places during our stay. We were impressed with the hospitality and service we received at all of the lovely places we stayed except for Dolphin Dunes. We found Andre the owner to be rude and arrogant . He seemed more interested in having a holiday himself... More

Firstly, I think you are part of the Emma W, Joseph777and LikeitSa clan that because of your bad and inconsederate behaviour, I had to call the Police. Now you are out to take revenge. I will respond to your review though. I looked through our November reservations and most of the guests wrote in our guestbook that they have had... More

Any visitor to Cape Town should take a trip up the garden route. I would recommend staying a few days in one place and Wilderness is the best, far nicer and hospitable than the very commercialised Knysna. And the Dolphin is the ideal place to stay. A place to relax and unwind.

We booked our family holiday with another family at dolphin Dunes for a week over the Christmas period . They were happy to take our booking and had the nerve to insist on 100 percent payment prior to arrival. if we didn't have to make full payment prior to arrival we would have left on the first day because of... Unfortunately Tripadvisor gives guests like you the platform to try and take revenge even if you were at fault. I would hang my head in shame if I was you, why dont you write that we had to call the police on you because of noise, drunkenness and general disregard for other guests? Kids are welcome, I told you it... More
