We have stayed here many times before and it remains our most favourite spot on the Garden Route. Unit 6 has the most amazing views no matter the season or the weather, it is just spectacular and we will visit again and again. It is so wonderful to find down-to-earth accommodation at reasonable prices in Wilderness. Thanks Ann for sharing... More

Sometimes when we are travelling we just want to hunker down for an evening and make our own dinner. Unit#6 had a fine little kitchen and a fabulous view too. And a comfortable, mosquito -netted bed. A good working shower. Plus a delightful chorus line of birds that appeared on the railing at the crack of dawn to sing us... More

We stayed in no.6, and I want to go back and live there!!! I can still picture the view in my mind. It was out of this world. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The help we had from our host was great. We just couldnt fault it. I would have expected it to be double the price. Just note that once... More

What a find! We stayed in unit 4 and had a wonderful time! The cottage is very spacious with wonderful views of the sea, very high up so no noise from the road. It is also really tastefully done with lovely attention to detail. We had plenty of privacy and wished we had stayed there longer. It is also excellent... More

Stayed at the self catering Wilderness Bush Camp in February 2011. What a gem of a place. The accomodation is fabulous, catering for all your needs from a self catering perspective with amazing views of the sea and very private. Rates are excellent value for what you get. Close to all shops, restaurants, activities such as canoeing and the forest... More

My husband and I spent 4 days in Cabin No 3. The location high on the hill above Wilderness could not be better. The view from our cottage was really special, and we felt 'away from it all' and so nice and private. Ann & John were very welcoming. We have already recommended Wilderness Bush Camp to many of our... More

The service at Wilderness Bushcamp was exceptional. John and his wife is amazing and ensured that everything was ready for us (thank you for the roses!!!). Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean, the birdlife was exquisite and it was very secluded. Waking up to the sounds of the ocean is amazing. Everything was clean and neat, and... More
