Staying in the Hopi Suite was a nice treat and larger than my last two apartments so probably about 1000 square feet and for only 10 dollars more per person each night? Totally worth it for the space and it is upstairs from the regular rooms. The only negative is that the bed shakes due to it's location over what... More

I enjoyed two great days on First and Second Mesa. I spent two nights at the Hopi Cultural Center Hotel. I found the folks running the Cultural Center and Hotel to be very nice and helpful. The room was basic but very clean. It feels good knowing that staying on the reservation I was helping out their economy. I enjoyed... More

This was a lovely place to stay. Of course it is in the middle of 2nd Mesa, one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the universe. The rooms were clean, staffers very nice, very pleasant. The view was beautiful. The restaurant was very good and staffers were wonderful, informed and polite. I enjoyed eating every meal there for... More

The most amazing part of my experience was encountering the professionally trained staff! In my decades of contact with various native cultures, the Hopi experience stands out. The hotel desk was managed with standard, efficient service, while the restaurant service from greeters to servers was notably the best I have ever experienced in a Native business, and would stand well... Hopi Cultural Center Motel – Second Mesa We stayed 1 night and had 3 meals. The room was adequate and clean. Breakfast was the best meal. The Hopi dishes we tried were not very tasty, and the lamb stew was very poor.

I'm sorry to hear the native dish was not to your liking. We take pride in knowing our dishes are tasteful and will look into the situation. Thank you for your comments and hope you visit us again soon! More

Our experience with the Hopi Cultural Centre started with booking the room which I had to do over the phone as I couldn't get a response from the e-mail address on the website. I asked for a confirmation e-mail and was told they didn't have e-mail. We subsequently had to change our booking and the person I spoke to actually... More

Oh dear, a series of motel disappointments, but great village tours in the end. We booked a 2 night stay here many weeks in advance and received a reservation number. When we turned up at reception the gentleman at the desk told us there was no record of our name nor our reservation number. We were also told that there... More

Restaurant is a hearty four. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving through the Hopi reservation. Motel is a three at best. But stay there anyway, because it's the only place to stay that is convenient for the tour of Walpi on Second Mesa the next day, an experience that you don't want to miss. The Walpi tour was an... No, it's not a luxurious resort, but considering it's Hopi owned and situated in a very remote area, it's more than adequate. This was not our first stay, and the rooms have always been basic, comfortable beds with clean and well working bathrooms. By the way - the water is very soft. The restaurant serves very good American and Hopi... More

This was our second trip to the Hopi Cultural Center Inn in 2 years, and we were again very happy with the accommodations. The rooms are fine. Don't expect a fancy tourist facility. The main reason to stay here is that you want to see the Hopi villages on First, Second, and Third Mesas, the Hopi artisans, and listen to... More
