Karibu is close to good restaurants, shopping and the beach. Lesley , the owner and hostess, was most helpful in recommending good places to shop and eat. The breaksfast at Karibu were delicious. Lesley directed us in a sightseeing tour of the art deco buildings in Durban. More

David and I very much enjoyed our stay in Durban at Karibou House. The guest lodge was beautifully decorated with a well-equipped kitchen. The friendly house-keeping staff kept the lodge impeccably clean. As well, the location was ideal – walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Located in one of the most desirable areas of Durban, this BB welcomed us with courteous staff and sparkling clean surroundings. It was out home for 5 days, offering every amenity one would normally have. I particularly appreciated the high speed Internet and access to international TV news.
