Front desk staff, security staff and housekeeping are all so cheerful. Rooms are large and spacious. Courtyard view is pleasant.Location is within walking distance to Newlands area restaurants but staff discourage you from walking there after dark for security fears. i stay here frequently for work, and while it isn't the cape grace it has everything you need for a lovely stay. beds are extremely comfortable, good showers, great breakfast, and some nice touches like juice and fruit in the lobby in the afternoon. definitely worth a mountain view room, it is stunning in the early morning when the light... Had a mountain facing room and the price upgrade was totally worth while! The park of the hotel is great, the breakfast buffet wast and the service just outstanding. I hope to have more time to try the spa next time I'll be there, as it looks great.

We visted the Vineyard hotel for a weekend break and it was perfect. Rooms are newly renovated and very comfortable.
