We managed two brief stays in ten days at Delia's charming place. Each room, the cottage and the common dining room exuded a considerate, distinctive charm. Delia's hospitality and that if her staff is warm and gracious. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else on a future trip to Joburg. More

“Relaxing place to stay in Johannesburg”

We stayed at Rutland House twice during a Southern Africa holiday, for one night and three nights. Both times were very easy, relaxing and enjoyable. On Good Friday we walked through the nearby Botanic Gardens and had lunch at the Lucky Bean in Melville. Delia's recommendations of taxis, tours, transfers and nearby restaurants were all excellent. The owner (Delia) is very friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome.
