When we arrived we were welcomed and told that, as there was only two couples staying in the lodge that big, we were to have our evening meal at the Mnegne Lodge elsewhere on the reserve. An amazing first time Safari experience at the Water Lodge with a traditional beautiful room with traditional thatch roof, large beds, bath overlooking the river, and inside and outside showers. Such a special place, the food, the views, the safari and ranger were superb. The room was stunning and staff couldn't do enough for you , I would recommend this to anyone. We saw lions, rhino, elephants, buffalo, warthogs, giraffes. All close, they are in their natural habitat and respected like they should be. Amazing place
