Our family of six has vowed to be back. My four kids had the most thrilling experience my eldest son is 23 and the youngest is 9 and each one had something to do. Our holidays are always determined by whether the kids will enjoy it. They loved it. We mad use of absolutely all the entertainment but the Island... More

Our stay at Pine Lodge in Port Elizabeth was amazing. From the moment we entered the premises we were treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble for the young lady at reception, she diligently explained all the different feature of Pine Lodge and where we were to go. The room was very spacious with more than enough packing space,... More

We were completely taken with the lodge. It is the kind of place families come back to year after year. We took our twin daughters (2yrs 6months) along and the place was everything we needed and more than we expected. We stayed in the 3 room chalet and the rooms were simple but comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and... More

Had a great stay. The location is a little out of town but worth the drive. Had a fun ride on the donkey cart through the nature reserve to the lighthouse, kids had a great time. We found certain rooms on the small side but totally adequate. The staff were friendly we would certainly recommend this resort and we look... More

The Pine Lodge has lots of cabins and can accommodate large groups of people. The day we arrived a large student group was leaving. The basic cabins have beds, baths and small kitchen facilities. They are functional, but not luxurious. And then the cabins go up from t here. We chose the fanciest. They were up on the hill, had... More

I stayed here for a few nights on business. I stayed in one of the honeymoon cabins. We had a full kitchen and bathroom as well as an excellent view of the sea. The regular cabins were much more basic. Both cabins seemed clean to me, despite what the previous reviewer reported. We arrived during a busy conference when the... More

Thank you for your review. It's great to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! Our restaurant is privately owned and not run by the Lodge, but I will definitely pass your comments onto them as I know they thrive on improving. We look forward to hosting you the next time you're in our beautiful city! More

I had a conference here and as the group went to lunch someone (staff) came into our conference room and stole 15,000 euro worth of goods. Laptops, Cameras, etc. The staff told us they were locking the doors, but to our dismay someone come in through the staff quarters. After the things were stolen, the manager was unhelpful and not...
