I stayed at Christiana lodge with my wife for 2 nights . It is a really good modern hotel and our room was very nice with 2 balconies and an outside shower. Christa recommended a couple of restaurants to us ( Zinzi and Nguni) which were both excellent.They are not walking distance so we booked a taxi for both nights.... More

That is the question. This was not the number one place in South Africa we stayed at, but almost. No let downs. I think if we hadn't stayed elsewhere it would be one of our favorite places in the world. The decor was sublime, minimalist, and exactly what the sophistication we were looking for in an area like this.

We stayed 2 nights there, the room was very modern and well furnished but many rooms are direct above the car parking and noisy, because of the returning guests. The breakfast is to late at 8.15 and is kept on an small variety.

Great breakfast, lovely and very helpful staff, superb room. Only (minor) inconvenience was that it is a bit of a walk to get onto the beach. Didn't allow this to spoil the visit - Plettenberg Bay is fabulous too, will definitely be going back
