“Classic, but alas, it's shabby”

As one would guess from the photo of the old-fashioned sign (it proclaims the rooms are "refrigerated") this is a classic motel from the golden days of motoring. only got hot water for 4 minutes in the cold februbary night. my boyfriend got a full 13 mintues without problems the next morning. the comforter had a big yellow stain. the sheets appeared clean. the heater was duct-taped together in places. the person in the room next to us set their alarm for 5am & did not shut it...
