In the middle of no-where is this fabulous place that takes great care of its visitors. We were there during clown week; decorations and costumes added fun to the happy atmosphere. The manager here, Dave, really wants to do things right. Our tour stopped at this Westmark for lunch and it was one of the best meals we had on the entire tour from the cruise ship right through the Yukon and Alaska. They also have a lovely gift shop where most items were marked down because it was the end... More

That being said...Tok is not a large town. The property was ok and the restaurant and motel were run well. Lots of bus tour groups, the one night that we stayed there were 5 buses. More

During our Alaska and Yukon holiday we stayed in 3 Westmark hotels. Nearly all had serious shortcomings. I don't understand how Holland America can connect its name with such low level hotels. Best hotel in Tok (may be the only one!) From the outside, it did not look like much and my heart sank, but we were pleasantly surprised. The manager was energetic and running different activities to get people enthused. (Christmas in Summer, for example) The rustic rooms had all the amenities.
