We stayed at Pension Bounty in December and were lucky to be the only ones there so the place was very quiet. Alain was not there but Muriel took care of us, finding for us the best dive center for our requirements. We had two amazing days diving with Raie Manta club that we highly recommend for people in search... More

What a beautiful, small and clean place not far away from the big dive shops. Alain and Muriel are wonderful hosts speaking multiple languages (not only the obvious ones as stated on their website!) and provide the best tips what to do and where to dive. The rooms are clean and free internet is provided from 7am through to 9pm.... More

I've been there in 2007, the owner, Alain is so polite, the place is simple but clean and beautifull. I think it's the best pension in rangiroa and it's surely much more cheaper than hotel as kia ora that is on the same beach. Definally i suggest this place if you don't want to stay in a over rated 4... More

Ia Orana Andrea, what a surprise ! Almost 5 years already and the pleasure to read comments from you ! I am delighted to read that the services met your expectations and that you enjoyed the atmosphere of our familly hotel. Thank you to point out than pension Bounty has the same beach than the Kia Ora Hotel and that... More

Very nice pension, clean and comfortable, placed nearby the very nice Kia Ora beach. The staff is very prepared (the owner speaks five or six languages...) and can help you with the organization of whatever trip you want to have. Bicycles are free of charge and is quite fun to ride up and down the island. More

Pension bounty has a perfect location: near the only beach of Avatoru, and at walking distance from Tiputa Pass, which is the nicest place! Alain (the owner) does anything he can to let you feel comfortable, and he is very successful in this :-D!! Rooms are very nice and perfectly clean. Complimentary Wifi is an additional bonus. Recommended! Urbano &... More

Everything including the accommodations seems to be very expensive in French Ploynesia. Pension Bounty is a reasonable place to stay especially for scuba divers and families because the multi-lingual (French, English, Italian and some Japanese) owner host was so friendly and kind to the guests. Fish-oriented dinners were good as well if you chose the half-board accmmodation style. I will... More

We were a group of 6 and stayed at the Bounty in June for one week diving. As we invested 3 of the available 4 rooms, we nearly had the pension on our own. The Bounty is nice and quite, and Alain has formed a beautiful garden with tropical plants. The rooms are clean and have everything you need (even... More

Dear "Sumbelino" and the group, Thank you for sharing your experience with us and potential travelers, we really appreciate it. It was a real pleasure to receive your group of German Scuba Divers and share our common passion: diving. Our rooms are indeed comfortable and well equipped as long as you keep in mind that Pension Bounty is a familly... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our French Polynesia trip. Now we know why the guide books suggest going to an atoll FIRST and not after going to say Bora Bora. Wow this island is remote, and has bare bones services (think random food shacks, no restaurants) and if you plan on cooking... More

Pension Bounty was overall wonderful and we loved Rangiroa, so much that we extended our stay, and stayed 5 nights instead of 2 before heading to Fakarava. The pension is located not far from the Tiputa Pass and close to the only beach in Rangiroa (which is an OK beach). Alain was a great host, always willing/wanting to help. He... More

Pension Bounty really is a great place to stay while in Rangiroa. I think one of the key things left off of the reviews I read is that Alain is an AWESOME cook! I love food, but was disappointed in FP overall; until I got to Pension Bounty. Many of the local places will also discount and arrange travel for... More
