The place where time seems to have come to a standstill. Guesthouse located in the 17th century building, just at the footsteps of the Clock Tower. Magical place where you can feel history in every nook and cranny and the cracking sound of the staircase cannot but bring to mind the setting for Stoker's 'Dracula'. Will try to see how... More

A little gem hidden in the narrow streets of the old citadell of Sighisoara. The drive up to the pension is an adventure by itself...an tiny winding rocky narrow one-way street that climbs up to the clock tower...from the outside it looks just like any one of the little 400 year old renovated houses neighbouring it... but when you enter,... The good: 1. location. it's literarily at the foot of the clock tower, the main attraction in the old town, and a short walk down the street to Piata hermann oberth where the restaurants and taxis line along the street. 2. Very warm and helpful staff. They called every rental car company in town for me, and after knowing all... More

This pension house is situated perfectly. It's in a quiet little nook away from the crowd but very near (just a few steps away!) from the clock tower, shops and restaurants. Staff was accommodating, we arrived at around 2am coming from Timi and the caretaker took her time out to meet us up to take us to the inn. The... More

Along a cobbled street, up a steep hill and around a bend just opposite the historic clock tower is where I found Pension Citadela. My GoogleMap page was quite useful along with some fun exploration. Pretty much beside the citadel walls, this B&B is quaint and welcoming. My room was up some awkward stairs but the view was worth the... More

Pension Citadela is probably located in the best area. Right beside the Sighisoara medieval citadel. Nice quiet street. Stairs to rooms are steep but well worth the climb. You might want to request top floor: what a view of the city from your skylight. Nice breakfast from menu. The staff is very friendly, Would certainly stay here again.

First of all, you can't beat the location and the view! Secondly, the kind personnel and the owners have put a lot of work and soul into adding an 'ancient' feel to this place! And they succeeded! A bit more attention to details could really turn this guesthouse into a hidden gem!

Colourful and kitchy, but nonetheless comfortable rooms with classic shutter windows overlooking the town. At night, as the fog crawls over the terracotta tiled roofs, it's a spooky sight - just what you want from a small-town Romanian stay. The breakfast is limited to hearty European options - think toasted (slightly dry) white bread, meat, cheese, maybe tomato. A bit... More

I have stayed here for just one night. It is very simply and the hotelier lady was very nice. We liked the breakfast verym uch. The only thing which we did not like was the stairs. Difficult to carry luggages!! And the reception is bit dark and should be refurbished though keeping same style.

This B&B was delightful, though the breakfast was a little sub-par (toast/bread in the sandwiches was a little soggy every time). It was located a few hundred meters down the street from the clock tower. Initially, we parked in the public lot just below the old High Town, but after checking in, the hotelier showed us where to park on... More
