Pros: new TV, low price, accepts pets, largish bathroom, on-site restaurant, decent value for the money Cons: loud bar/restaurant esp. on weekend nights lots of traffic noise, located on the Kenai-Spur Highway dark and dingy

My husband has been coming here for many years:-I just had to take photos of room pictures stating in no uncertain terms that cleaning your own fish would give you serious financial penalty: - copy is now framed in our A/Zona house!!
Mykel's Lounge (downstairs,) from fairly basic lodging is really good:- Denise and her team cook up a storm,...

The Hotel is for sale. They are no longer have a fishing charters, they lost their license last year, which is false advertising. They book you on charters so they can make a commission instead of sending you to good fishing spots. The rooms are past their prime, they still have tube TV, not flat screen. Beds are old and...

I stayed at the Soldotna Inn for a week while attending to some family business, and I was pleasantly surprised. Sure, the hotel is clearly not a four-star property, but it's clean, comfortable, and the ownership and staff bend over backward to accommodate their guests' needs. The complimentary breakfast goes way beyond a typical continental offering, with cereals, a huge...

I must have gotten the worst room in this place, #201. I knew I was in for a treat when I received an actual key for the room on the big plastic identification keyring. It was the last one available, located on the ground floor right next to the main office. This was the smokiest non-smoking room I haver ever...

Our room was clean, but the upholstery on the two chairs, and the sofa, were old and worn. The carpet was clean, and the bath was also nice and clean. The mattress was old also, but because of an added foam mattress on top, it wasn't too bad. The towels in the bathroom were also pretty worn - almost threadbare....

Lots of new changes due to new management! Rooms have been updated since we stayed last time. Added new breakfast area and public computers. Lots of board games and books for kids in the lobby. Excellent staff and un-be-lievable restaurant!
