Have been to Alaska many times. Ty and his crew the best. Our group was with Ty in July 2011. We had several novices with us and they had the time of their life. Ty was patient and couldn't have been nicer. Hope to return every year. Paul Wild & Family

Had an awesome time fishing. The cabins were clean and comfortable, nothing like a hot shower after a long day fishing. Beds were comfortable and warm. All the comforts of home, including satellite tv. We went a bit too early in the season, but it was still a great time. Already plannin this years trip, with a longer stay. I... More

I took my first trip ever to Alaska with my buddy Chuck. We went the first week of May after King salmon. Tyland worked his butt off for us getting us fishing on a day we had made a mistake of that he had not planned for. The fishing was Tough for kings and didnt see hardly any caught the... More

My brothers and I planned a surprise trip for my father in 2004 and Ty helped us make that the trip of a lifetime! My Dad had always dreamed of fishing in Alaska for the big fish. Dad enjoyed that trip so much that he wanted to go again. So this Summer (2012) we'll help him celebrate his 80th birthday,... More

I have been going to Soldotna for a few years now and Tyland and his crew are nothing short of top notch. I have brought the whole family (wife, two daughters and my brother) up to Alaska Fishing and Lodging and there has been nothing but great service and spectacular fishing. I recall a time when we were out on... More

I'm a 4th generation Alaskan and have fished with and know a lot of local guides thru out the state.Tyland and Damond run a ''top notch'' operation, very knowledgeable of the fishery and both will go that ''extra mile'' for you to make sure you're successful.I have friends from Tennessee that come up every year to fish at Alaska fishing... We have been vacationing with Alaska Fishing and Lodging for the past several years, would think of going no where else. Tyland has superb knoweldge of the river, and when the kings are coming in, he will place you right on them. Thanks to Damon's help and patience last year, I was finally able to land a few reds, even... More

I have always wanted to take a "guided" fishing trip on the Kenai River, but the cost was a bit much for my budget. My husband has gone with other guides on the river that were at least twice as much as the trip we took with Ak Fishing and Lodging. I was super excited when my husband announced that... More

Last June after our son returned from college we took him to Alaska Fishing & Lodging for a post finals mental vacation. How perfect this idea turned out for all of us. From the moment we arrived at the lodge we were made to feel we were at home. The atmosphere was relaxing and quiet but it was the efforts... More

Visited Alaska Fishing & Lodging with 5 other friends to celebrate a 40th birthday. We took two cabins. The cabins are very clean and have some great salmon mounts on the walls. Cabins contain a sleeping area, a bathroom with shower and a small kitchenette. Outside, there is a covered deck with a table & chairs and a BBQ. We... More
