We have stayed in the Old Timers Cabin for the past 5 years. Peaceful, quiet and a wonderful place to relax and fish in the surrounding area. Great location with fishing available on the lake out front. Owner could be better organized and prepared for guests, a little more flexible - seems like running a b&b is an afterthought for her. Nice home and rooms, with cooking facilities, would make this a great base of operations for a few days.

What a wonderful place to relax for a few days - it has a real calm and peacefulness away from the hussle and bustle of everyday life. While Daniels Lake is very pretty in its secluded location, we knew this lodge was out-of-the-way, so (before checking in) we stopped for dinner after a long day of fishing. We got to the lodge at 11 pm--still light out in AK--and there was no sign of life, and no note on the door except "please ring doorbell if checking... More
