My boyfriend and I planned to stay here for a weekend, and ended up staying for A COUPLE OF WEEKS! We fell in love with the place! The views are breath taking, from the lounge and bedrooms, out to the snowy hills and the flowing rock river that borders the property. The lovely family that owns (and pets that roam)... More

This is a very clean, attractive, comfortable and accomodating B&B just a few minutes out of Kodiak City. There is a great deck overlooking a stream. Food is good and the owner does everything she can to accomodate you and make sure your stay is perfect. It was great to have an expert on this area there for help; and... More

Outstanding place and wonderful people. I've stayed at the Eider house several times and would never stay elsewhere.

Great place to stay in Kodiak. Close enough to the city of Kodiak to take advantage of what it has to offer, but far enough away to get away from it all. Eider House is situated in a wilderness location, only nine miles south of Kodiak city. The creek directly behind the house attracts wildlife such as eagles and bears.... More

If you prefer a hostess to hover, NEVER give you your privacy and irritate you to death, than this is for you! What happened to signs, instructions and DO NOT DISTURB hangers for you door? You won't find any here! Oh by the way, if you are expected to, "Not wear your own shoes!" "Don't you think the floors should... More

The Eider House Bed & Breakfast is the best B&B I have ever stayed at. I have stayed at Robin's place twice for a total of 14 days and enjoyed every night. She is an excellent cook and can make almost any breakfast you request. I especially enjoyed her homemade sausage, ham, egg and cheese biscuits which had a side... More

This was the very first bed & breakfast for me and my wife. We usually stay at hotels and timeshare condos. We were hesitant at first, and tried to get a room at the Best Western (I think that's the only major chain in Kodiak). We are really glad that the Best Western was booked, because we were able to... We live in Florida and love to travel to Alaska in our RV for the summer. This summer we left the RV on the mainland and took the Alaska Marine Hwy to Kodiak Island for a few days. It was our wonderful luck to get reservations at the Eider House. What a wonderful and warm family! Robin made us feel... More
