Beautiful views of Kachemak Bay and mountains... rooms were dead quiet. Breakfast was locally owned bakery fresh. Literally around the corner from the Spit. Lori is a wonderfully friendly and engaging host. Will definitely recommend to friends!

Warmth, hospitability, cleanliness and lots more qualities, all rated in the superlative. Human nature at its best, surrounded by Alaska nature on all sides. Fantastic views.
We spent two nights here and they home was just beautiful. It was kind of them to let us use the washer/dryer for just $5.00. It saved us from going to the laundry mat. Breakfast was great and even though Laurie had been having back issues, she still made sure everything was running smooth....The only negative things I can say...

What a wonderful place. We stayed in 5 different B&Bs in Alaska ant this was the best. Nicest people. Great location with great views. Great breakfast with very nice people. Laurie is so helpful and friendly. Don't stay anywhere else in Homer!

We went to Homer, Alaska for our destination wedding. It was FABULOUS, thanks in no small part to Lori at the Bay Avenue Bed and Breakfast. The main house and other houses on the property are lovely, quiet, and clean. Our room was perfect, and very comfortable. Lori makes a delicious breakfast, and is a wonderful hostess. The views are...

Lori Mikols hosted our family and friends in July 2010 while we were in Homer for the wedding of our daughter.
She welcomed us into her Bay Avenue Bed and Breakfast, as if we were family, for several days before and after the wedding weekend.
The accommodations were wonderful, but even more important, was how Lori went above and beyond...

We stayed at the Bay Avenue Bed and Breakfast for 3 days at the end of our two week Alaska trip in July 2010 and it was excellent way to end the trip. Overall the rooms and house were extremely clean and the scenery very pretty. But the main benefit of this B&B was Lori, who runs the B&B. Before...

My husband and I stayed at Bay Ave B&B for 4 nights in mid August. The B&B is very pretty and overlooks the Homer Spit. The B&B is quaint, cozy, extremely clean and well kept. It felt like a home away from home only much better. The owners are incredibly friendly and share their amazing stories about Homer and Alaska....

As an experieced traveller throughtout the US and often staying in B & B's this was the most basic property I have stayed in. The rooms were clean but the wardrobe was 2 hangers hung on a nail in the wall - if you required your bed to be made you had to request it! Breakfast was friendly but poor...
