We spend three nights in the Rose Quarter. This is one of the nicest accommodations we've ever had and we traveled a lot so far. Everything is great at this place: the breakfast (self made bread), the bed is huge and cosy, the view from the bed or the balcony (directly to the sea, to the snow covered mountains) and... More

Our stay at the Alaska Beach House B&B was perfect. Great location, beautiful views of Kachemak Inlet, and very interesting and accommodating hosts. The room was very warm and cozy and the breakfast baked goodies delicious. We would love to revisit Homer and the B&B.

Homer is one of the most strikingly beautiful, interesting and eclectic places in Alaska. And this B&B is the perfect headquarters for enjoying it--starting with the hosts who were always helpful and accommodating. Aside from great tips and advice, Doug pulled out all stops to have the wood-fired hot tub ready for us after the fantastic day's hike on Grace... More

Wonderful memories of our four nights at the Alaska Beach House B&B. We loved it! Our room was delightful and comfortable with a great king size bed and unique wild life decor, with a deck to ourselves with a spectacular view and our own private entrance. Eagle watching with resident eagles that return year after year right there on the... More

Loved the Compass Rose Cottage. Very comfy and great views. Wish the weather would have cooperated more so we could have enjoyed Homer more. We had hoped to hike and go over to Seldovia but the weather was too bad. Did enjoy ourselves anyway at the cabin and touring Homer. Went bear viewing with Emerald Air, it was awesome. Can't... More

We only had a short stay but were impressed with the property that this B&B was on. It is located on a cliff overlooking the coast and you can go down to the beach for a stroll. There is a hot tub outside that overlooks the coast but we did not use it (we did see other people using it... More

This B&B was the best we had in our four weeks trip true Alaska. The view is spectacular and the rooms are really nice! We loved the homemade bread every morning and enjoyed the friendlyness of the owners very much. They gave us great tips to visit in Alaska. If you are visiting Homer, I would really advise you to... This B&B is located in a residential setting so is very quiet. They have 6 rooms & we stayed in the Fisherman's Quarters. The room is small but works for a couple. All rooms have their own outside entrance so was nice to come & go without bothering the owners. The room has a frige, microwave & coffee maker plus... More

Our stay at this B&B elevated our time at Homer from nice to excellent. The Compass Rose Quarter was fantastic with a striking 180-degree view of the bay and mountains on the opposite shore. We saw the widely varying tides from our king-size bed. The room was very comfortable and visually attractive. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating to our... More
