Along with our 3 children my husband and I have stayed with Peter and Vicki on several occassions. We just love Aitutaki, but really it is the warmth and generosity of Vicki and Peter that keep us coming back. You will not find nicer people to stay with!! We feel like we are coming home to stay with family for... More

There are two one-bedroom bungalows on the west side of the island, right on the beach/lagoon. They are equipped with a fridge, electric frypan, stereo, small dining table, couch, double-bed and separate bathroom/toilet. Each has a deck with two deckchairs. The owner lives in the main house behind, and regularly drops in coconut bread, banana cake and fruit. The beach... More

Stayed with Vicki and Peter at Paparei bungalows for 6 nights with my Wife and two children (2 and 12) and I can safely say we had a great time. Lodgings: Terrific, perfect for our requirements, very clean, comfortable and right on the beach. We could sit on the deck and watch the kids play in the water, or we... More

If you want a tropical sunset this is the place to be. If you want clean and comfortable this is the place to be. If you want genuine warm Kiwi/Cook Island hospitality this is the place to be. We couldn't have chosen better. We did have to travel a whole five minutes to go snorkelling though. To offset that though,... More

Unfortunately Peter and Vicki were away, but we were greeted by their daughter Trina at the airport. Straight away her friendly laid back welcome made us feel relaxed and at home. Although the beach isnt exactly a great swimming spot, hire a scooter from across the road and explore the island, its a blast! But it is close to everything... More

We spent 5 nights at Paparei with our 2 chn(5 and 2). Unfortunately we had bad luck with the weather and missed the sunsets which this spot would have been perfect for but of course you can't do anything about that. The beach was beautiful white sand and the bungalow was more or less right on the beach, great for... More

We were met by one of the owners of the property Vicky, at the airport and was taken to the bungalows. They were extremly clean and well presented and not only were we given fresh fruit / milk / bread and drinking water on arrival but Vicky had also baked us coconut loaf! The bungalows are situated on the beach... More

The bungalows are as per the website, very clean with a stereo and a nice deck but you can not really cook as there is only an electric pan. The bungalows are located at the end of the lagoon , very close to the "city" . So it is convenient to get food, go to restaurants but it is a... More

We hit the jackpot with this place. It was every bit like the website described and more. It was like staying with family but having your own apartment on the lagoon shore. From the moment we arrived we were spoilt and made to feel like we lived there all the time. The standard of accommodation combined with the lifestyle on this island was... We were met at the airport by our hosts and transported to the bungalows for free. Our charming hosts settled us into one of the two bungalows situated on the beadh (literally) and welcomed us with home-made scones. The bungalow was near new with one large bedroom and ensuite, a lounge/kitchen. All was in immaculate condition, clean and beautifully presented.... More
