The previous reviewer took the title "Natural Paradise" I was going to use! This was hands down my favourite place in the Cook Islands and I wish we could have stayed longer, next time we will. I am an avid birder and attracted by the gorgeous Rimatara Lorikeets (Kura) which have been recently re-introduced to Atiu and are thriving! The... More

We have just returned from the Cook Islands where we spent the first half of our holiday on Atiu as guests at the wonderful Atiu Villas. The 6 villas are set in lush tropical gardens and are set out in a way that provide a quiet private retreat. Whilst the resort is not 5 star luxury, it provides things that... More

There is not a lot to do on Atiu, but this is a good thing. There are only about 400 people on the island and it is very laid back. Atiu Villas are probably the best accommodation option on the island. The rooms are a bit dated, but still comfortable. The fridge and cupboard are fully stocked and you pay... More

My partner and I stayed here for two nights (way too short in hindsight) as part of our Cooks Islands holiday. It was splendid. The villas are very very spacious, the beds are comfortable and a double bed is a real double bed not zipped together singles. Each villa has a veranda with a picnic table and two comfy chairs;... Been there for 5 days. It's simple: On Atiu go to Atiu Villas. You'll get a host (Roger) that cares about you - sometimes more than you wish when he wants you to take some more drinks. He also has got a very unique sense of humor. He'll tell you stories about Atiu and his people and you'll have to... More

We stayed at The Atiu Villas for two nights in September. First things first - if you are going to The Cook Islands and are looking for something a bit different, hop on the ten seater from Rarotonga and get ye to Atiu! We totally loved the island, and even writing this I am regretting the fact that we only... More

Our 4 nights at Atiu Villas was a highlight of our 2 week vacation in the Cook Islands. The accommodation is excellent and the island is a step back in time - no resorts, no souvenir shops, no restaurants or bars ( except Kura's Kitchen at the Villas). We think we have seen the REAL Cook Islands here. Not as... More

We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay here and would loved to have stayed longer. The Villas are made out of local timbers and are quite lovely. There is a pool, a tennis court and a dining area where you can get a 2 course set meal for $30 = we found this was a good way to meet... More

Atiu villas are the place to stay in Atiu. I only had a couple of nights, which I wish had been four or five, but it was well worth the time. If you need five star pampering then Atiu is probably not the place for you, but if you want a little taste of the South Pacific then it definitely... More

This is a great little resort on a beautiful Island. Roger and Kura have got everything right. It's a good layout and the gardens are well established. With 6 villa's, a restaurant, swimming pool and a grass tennis court... it's all you need. The best feature about resorts this size is the community feel. You socialise with every guest who... More
