Spent a night in this place. Very affordable price and has all you need,. Not a luxurious place but offers a pleasant atmosphere and is close to downtown. Marco, the owner, is s very pleasant person who is a polyglot and gives out very helpful information about the country.
Marco, the owner of the hotel is very kind, speaks a lot of languages, travelled the whole world and is very interessted. His mother helps him running the small guesthouse, which is located in the center of San José. There is a little courtyard with beautiful plants. The rooms are not too big but very clean and comfortable.
I visited San Jose to spend some time at the university and i was spending weeks trying to find a place to stay that was nearby everything i needed, and still had a good rate until i came upon this.
The owner manages the hotel directly and its perfect!
