The new owners have been here for less than one year and they are doing everything right. Most of the past reviews were excellent, and the only bad reviews happened during the last year with the previous owners. Change is good.

After traveling in Central America for 3 months we were happy to end our trip at Hotel Mamiri in Tamarindo. The hotel is a small, cozy place with a nice garden. The family that owns it is lovely, and they live in the hotel and are always there to help. Breakfast is included in the garden where you can watch...

Stayed here for 3 night, late feb 2012. Everything was great, Super nice place. Staff was more than friendly. Extremely good value for a place in tamarindo. If you stay here chech out tsunami surf for your recreation needs, I found them helpful with everything.

There is AC and wifi (unfortunately not a good signal at room #9). Coffee all day at the main floor, where is also...

Within 200 meters you have restaurants, supermarket, bars etc. Everything you need to have a pleasant stay in Tamarindo.

My wife, daughter and I arrived in Tamarindo and wanted something mid-range. Navigation was difficult but we finally mangaed to find a hotel which had a glowing description in a very popular tour guide. So exhausted we took it.
