The hostel was very dirty. The rooms and no blinds, just scratched off white paint on the window. Everybody can see into the rooms. The bathrooms were gross and their was very little room to move around in the rooms.

We stayed here for 5 nights, couldnt have asked for a better place, atmosphere is relaxed and fun. Nice sunsets from chill area, hammocks, tv, and music. The breakfast is great here, coffee free all day, and the Pizza is delicious. After a 14 hour bus/ferry ride up from Jaco, we were enthusiastically greeted by the owner Ryan, showed to...

We checked in here and basically checked straight out again. For the price this hostel charged it was woefully inadequate, and makes me question all the previous reviewers - have they stayed anywhere else ever? We have been travelling for over a year and stayed in hundreds of hostels and this was way overpriced for what it was.
The hostel...

We showed up with three 20 year old girls, and met Ryan and within minutes had a place to stay with air conditioning, wi-fi, and breakfast in the morning. All in the most accessible location, and all for 15$ a night. We made lots of friends and felt completely comfortable and 100% safe. I accidentally left my phone on the...

Bahia Paraiso is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Tamarindo. The location of Bahia Paraiso is perfect, right in the middle of town, close to the beach and any shopping or restaurants you may want to visit. If you feel like staying in the hostel for the night there is a great balcony area where you can kick...

This is a new and fresh hostal , great located near the beach and away from the street noise. Ryan the owner is very helpful and welcoming to everyone. And the pizza...jummy...its a must!
The value is great there, location is central right by the beach... Good food. Pizza is a must try! The rooms were pretty standard but very clean. The owner is super cool and showed us a great night on the town! Would for sure come back.
I had the best time at this hostel, really great location in the middle of the action and so close to the beach! The owner and staff are so fun and friendly and really go out of their way to make sure your having the best time! Also best pizza place in town and cheapest!
The rooms are clean, there is air conditioning, and the bar in the hostel is super chilled with a balcony and hammocks for reading while you soak up the sun. The stone baked pizza was the fastest, best and cheapest we found, and the bar had no biting bugs like there are on the beach. There is free tea and...
