First of all: there was no kitchen AND no restaurant. That means, you have to walk 10 minutes for a coffe or a meal. The pool was dirty and the water almost hot. One of the reasons, why I wanted to cancel some nights. He made me pay two of those, and for the third one, wich he "refounded" kept... More

This is not a super clean, resort type of place. It's got all the environment and amenities a no frills traveler needs but is a little unpolished. Great pool. Great location. Has rooms or a hostel setup. Pura vida

Great location, right on the beach road and very close to town, helpful staff and reasonably priced. Fantastic property, and rooms were clean and spacious. I stayed just 2 nights passing through Playas del Coco en route to Nicaragua but have booked to stay again on my return, unbeatable value!

Stayed at Pacific Palms after someone I met in Tamarindo suggested it. It is the definition of Pura Vida. Big pool with palms all around and iguanas just hanging out. Very helpful and polite staff. They have a main building with private rooms and then a hostel part. I chose the hostel for $15/night because all the private rooms were... More

I happened upon Pacific Palms by accident last weekend in Playas del Coco. My girlfriend and I were actually on our way to another place to stay when we passed Pacific Palms. The place is beautiful. Huge grounds with lots of green, palm trees, hammocks, pool. Very serene. It was amazing. We stayed 2 nights and loved it. The location... More
