Great place to spend a night or two while travelling. We stayed here after flying into San Jose airport on our way to Puerto Veija. Staff was very welcoming with a cold cocktail waiting. it's an absolutely great hotel to get rid of the flight stress and jet-lag (just 2hs by car from the alajuela airport). we did especially like the "southern-states-architecture". the environs, service level and food was outstanding. recommendation: take a right at the exit from the hotel (not a left to turrialba) and follow the unpaved road throughout the sugarcane fields...
