The hotel rooms are uninspired and don't eat dinner there, but the springs are great. We went in the evening and again in the morning. Very secluded and beautiful and you can have a drink while in the springs. Pools separated by temperature and a long, nice walk (wear shoes) through the jungle to get there. Nothing much else around... More

Found the hotel/spa when searching for lodging in La Fortuna which ends up being an hour away. This hotel lies in the farmlands about 5-miles from Ciudad Quesada. This hot spring/spa is not commercialized like other locations, it is truly a relaxing serene place where Ticos go to relax. I think because it is not located near a tourist site... More

The rate seemed a little high, but when we left, I felt like they were severely undercharging. The meals that were included, breakfast and dinner, were AWESOME and genuine. The people in the restaurant really take pride in the quality of the food and service. We left each meal full. These were authentic local meals and that alone was worth... More

We only spent one night here, but if we hadn't already booked our next stay, we would have stayed two. For $79 we had a clean room with comfortable beds, very good quality breakfast and dinner and use of the beautiful thermal springs in the jungle. We also did a horseback-riding tour with Carlos, who was "muy simpactico" with us... More

The rooms are a little pricey, but well worth it. 80$ for a double, but the rooms are very spacious, cable tv, hot water showers, private bathroom, air conditioned. There is no wifi available except right at the reception area, but there is also one computer available with internet for guests at the reception desk. The views are very nice... More

This is a place very the majority of the tourists are from Costa Rica and there is no risk for menus in English. Laid back place to relax, great thermal pools, just walking to the pools is an adventure. Great feeling. More

My husband and I spent a night here after a long and frustrating day driving in Costa Rica. I will say without reservation that the hot springs are one of the lovliest places I have been.....natural and man made features have been combined to create a peaceful little Eden in the rainforest. The hotel, however, could use improvement. The rooms... More

We arrived at Termales del Bosques mid-afternoon in a torrential downpour; by evening the rain had let up a bit so we went to dinner at their lovely outdoor restaurant. The food was quite good. After dinner we walked in the dark down the road to the hot springs just to see what they were like. It was a bit... More
