This is a good in-town alternative to the high-priced resorts on the highway leading to Volcan Arenal. It's got a secure, courtyard layout. The rooms are spare but clean. Price is reasonable. Breakfast wasexcellent. WiFi worked only intermittently. More

despite a great location and lovely gardens the cabin we had was not clean the sheets were dirty with no undersheets on the mattress, hard lumpy pillows, which smelt, again with no under pillow cases. Title says it all...located a block away from the center of town and within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, etc. The hotel rooms are just okay, on the cheaper side and a lot of families tend to stay at the hotel. Free breakfast in the morning is decent but overall being located close to downtown was most important.... More
