“Enjoyable stay”

We along with a group of 22 heads through Voyager`s Club, a Tour Operator from Kolkata stayed in this hotel for 2 days in October 2010. We enjoyed our stay as coffee maker, tv and fridge were there for our use. Chinese type break fast with bread, boiled egg, omlet, fruits, milk and rice etc were available

After checking a bunch of different hotels in Shanghai, finally I am stuck at this place, good value for money, ok rooms, not new, but tea boiler, fridge, TV, Internet connection, shop and restaurant with nice fried rice, Chinese style breakfast, but bread, coffee and egg available. Near to the main station and 3 stations from Peoples Square by subway.... More

The main advantage of this hotel is it's location, near the central railway station. Everything else is so-so. No fitness centre, massage, though promised by leaflets. No money exchange, though they have the corresponding signs, poor breakfast. The rooms were good enough, but in need of renovation.

To my viewpoint, the only advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the Railway Station, since we wanted to go to Suzhou. The average hotel, staff spoke rather poor English, soy-like breakfast - that all is absolutely the same in Chinese hotels. Money exchange did not work, fitness centre was not open. The rooms were however clean, and spacious.
