Wanted to thank the extremely helpful concierge staff (Eric and Timota) for their help to get my smartphone back. I had practically lost it on the back seat of the taxi but they managed to get it back. Just another great point for the excellent, ever so professional yet friendly staff at the hotel. I have stayed at the Le Royal Meridien Shanghai several times on business trips to Shanghai. The hotel is very centrally located and convenient for visitors to Shanghai. The staff is very attentive and provide whatever assistance is needed to make your stay a pleasant one. The restaurants are gym are very good.

Close to the subway station, next to the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, whether it is shopping or eating is very convenient, the hotel service is also very good, but the room decor is a little old, a small tub of water, filled with water to wait for half an hour, there is no freeInternet pity.

The hotel is elegantly designed in an excellent location that is in easy walking distance of many attractions in Shanghai. The rooms are luxurious but not particularly user friendly. The concierge services were adequate but not outstanding. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff in the lobby directing guests among the various elevators were delightful.

I stayed here in Jan 2013. I booked through a friend and got a cheap rate, probably wouldn't have stayed here otherwise. Loved the hotel. Staff are so friendly, location is great. Many hotels in Shanghai but this is one of the better ones. Attended a meeting and the staff could not have been more helpful. The view from the bar on the top floor on a clear day is amazing.
